The I PUC Orientation Programme was held on 25 May 2026 at the RTB Auditorium. The programme began with a welcome dance by the II PUC students, following which the dignitaries were escorted to the dais.
Paramapoojya Swami Nirbhayananda Saraswati Swamiji was the Chief Guest. CA Ashok Shetty M., Chairman and President of Bunts Sangha; Ashok Kumar Shetty, Treasurer; and Vahini Shetty, GC Member, along with Principal Ms. Usha Santosh, were the dignitaries on the dais.
The Principal formally welcomed the dignitaries. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by the dignitaries, members of the Cultural Committee, and the college toppers. A PowerPoint presentation was delivered by Mr. Yogendra Shetty and Ms. Shweta Bhat, providing the I PUC students and their parents with an overview of the institution.
The Treasurer spoke about the importance of the PUC stage in a student’s life. The Chief Guest was introduced by Ms. Vidya B. In his address, the esteemed Chief Guest shared valuable insights into the life of Swami Vivekananda. He also spoke at length about the true potential of being an Indian and how it remains to be fully realized by the youth of today.
The GC Member then addressed the gathering, encouraging students to aim higher in life. Quoting the words of Kuvempu, she emphasized the shared responsibility of teachers and parents in shaping a child’s future.
The II PUC toppers of the Science and Commerce streams, along with the centum scorers, were felicitated by the dignitaries and EC members. Ms. Prarthana Shetty and Ms. Vedashree shared their thoughts and experiences with the audience.
The Principal then introduced the newly appointed lecturers, office staff, and attenders. She also explained the rules and regulations of the institution to the parents.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Mamatha B. V. The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
