Pavana Nagaraj, Class X student of Bunts’ Sangha RNS Vidyaniketan, Bengaluru set a remarkable record on the opening day of the 36th National Junior Athletics Championship held at Guwahati, India on the 1st week of February 2021 by claiming the Gold Medal and by rewriting the Under – 16 National High Jump record of 1.73 Metres.
Pavana, daughter of Senior National record holder and a former Olympic participant, Smt.Sahana Kumari and B G Nagaraj, an acclaimed sprinter have continued her family traditions of setting up new records each time by following the illustrious footsteps of her mother with complete determination and dedication.
