Bunts’ Sangha RNS Vidyaniketan had the privilege of hosting the Inter-School KISA “Best out of waste-Turning waste into wonder” competition, on 11th August 2026 with enthusiastic participation from students across 65 schools. The event aimed to promote creativity, innovation, environmental awareness and responsible use of waste materials.
The competition provided students with an excellent platform to transform discarded and reusable materials into useful and attractive creations. The participants displayed remarkable imagination and craftsmanship while presenting their innovative ideas. The judges Narayan S Kumbar and Shilpashree K appreciated the creativity, uniqueness, usefulness and eco-friendly approach in the exhibits. The competition also highlighted the importance of 3Rs-Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
The programme was conducted successfully with the support and the co-operation of the school management, principal, teachers, volunteers and the participating schools. Executive members of KISA-Ms. Padmashree (Principal of Vidya Soudha School, Peenya) and Ms. Devika (Principal and Secretary of VLS International School, Basaveshwar Nagar) witnessed this event. The event was an enriching experience for all and served as a meaningful reminder that waste can be transformed into something valuable through creativity and conscious effort.
The successful hosting of the KISA inter-school “Best out of waste” competition added another feather to the cap of Bunts’ Sangha RNS Vidyaniketan, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing creativity, environmental responsibility and holistic development among young learners.
