The Investiture Ceremony of Bunts’ Sangha RNS Vidyaniketan was held with great pride and dignity, marking the dawn of new responsibilities, commitment, and leadership for the elected student council members. The solemn event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, management, heads of all departments, staff members, and enthusiastic students who witnessed the occasion with joy and inspiration. The programme commenced with an invocation song and the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the beginning of an auspicious and purposeful journey.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presence of the Chief Guest, Sri K.C Ramesh, Retired Hawaldar of the Central Reserve Police Force, accompanied by Mr. Dhanajayan. In his address, the Chief Guest shared valuable lessons from his life, reminding the students that with love for the nation and fellow beings, anything is possible, provided one keeps the mind calm and steady.
Our President and Chairman, Sri C.A. Ashok Shetty, in his motivating address, urged the students to be confident, believe in themselves, never limit their potential, and strive to achieve every possible goal. Our Secretary and the convenor, Sri Vijay J Shetty Halady, also inspired the gathering with his words of wisdom. He highlighted the importance of being faithful, believing in one’s own capabilities, and bringing changes within oneself first in order to inspire change in others.
Our Principal, Smt. Usha Santosh, administered the solemn oath to the newly elected council members, reminding them of their duties and responsibilities as torchbearers of integrity and service. The proud moment arrived when the Student Council Members of ICSE, CBSE, PU, and Primary wings marched forward with pride and dignity to receive their badges. The dignitaries honoured the young leaders by pinning their badges, symbolizing the trust and responsibility vested in them. The newly inducted council pledged to uphold the values of the school and lead by example in academics, discipline, and service.
The event concluded with a sense of pride and hope, reminding everyone that: “Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge.”
