The Investiture ceremony of Bunts’ Sangha RNS Vidyaniketan was held with great enthusiasm and dignity at the RTB Auditorium, Bunts’ Sangha, Bengaluru on 12th July, 2024 to bestow the responsibilities on the newly elected members of its Student’s Council for the academic year 2024- 25.
It was a solemn occasion where the young students of the ICSE, CBSE and the College wing were all prepared to don the mantle of the premiership and discharge the functions entrusted to them by the institution.
The ceremony was graced by the benign presence of Shri. M. M Bharath, Police Inspector, Chandra layout Police Station, Bengaluru as the Chief Guest. The event was also graced by Shri. Muralidhar Hegde, President Bunts’ Sangha, Bengaluru, Shri. Anandram Shetty, Honorary Secretary and Convenor, Bunts’ Sangha, Bengaluru, Shri. Amarnath Shetty, Treasurer, Bunts’ Sangha, Bengaluru and other esteemed members of Bunts’ Sangha, Bengaluru.
The celebration of democracy in the form Investiture Ceremony began with a ceremonial guard of Honour to the distinguished dignitaries followed by a heartwarming welcome to the guest and other dignitaries by the Principal Smt. Usha Santosh.
The lighting of the lamp etched a new beginning in the phase of the elected Students as the proud members of the Students’ Council.
The elected Head Boy, Head Girl, and the other student council members of the ICSE, CBSE and The P.U. stream were conferred with the badges and sashes. The student council donning the mantle of responsibility, pledged to uphold the school motto in high esteem. The sacred oath of allegiance was administered by administered by Mrs. Kalpana Ram, the Vice-Principal of the institution.
The ceremony took its momentum with inspiring speeches rendered by the Chief Guest, The President, Bunts’ Sangha, Bengaluru, The Principal and other dignitaries that marked an ever-lasting impact on the Students’ Council.
The boundless zeal of the Council was reflected in the maiden speeches delivered by the Head Boys and the Head Girl of the ICSE, CBSE and the P.U. Stream, where the elected students thanked everyone and pledged to be the torch bearers of all the values that the institution stands for.
The ceremony entered its final stage with the proposal of vote of thanks by the Head Mistress of the ICSE Stream and concluded with the National Anthem.
