0n 15th August our school commemorated India’s Independence Day with fervour and patriotism, showcasing a blend of tradition, history, and celebration. The event, organized by the school administration along with students and staff, was a memorable affair that resonated with the spirit of freedom and unity.
The day commenced with the hoisting of the Indian National flag by Flt. Lt. M. S. Lolaksha (Rtd), who was invited as the event’s primary guest, accompanied by the rendition of the national anthem, which reverberated throughout the campus, instilling a sense of pride and patriotism among the attendees. The cultural program highlighted the rich cultural heritage of India and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters to secure the nation’s independence. Students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their talents and dedication to honour the legacy of India’s struggle for freedom. The award ceremony was a memorable part of the celebration. Our students received praise for their accomplishments in swimming and yoga. The Chief Guest presented certificates to the top students in the II PUC and 10th grades for the academic year 2022–23.
The celebration reinforced the importance of unity, diversity and respect for the values that define the Indian ethos, inspiring all members of the school community to strive towards a brighter future for India.
