The much-awaited Annual Sports Day at Bunts’ Sangha RNS Vidyaniketan was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement for grades 6 to 10 & PUC on 30th & 31ST October 2025, at University College Physical Education Ground, Jnanabharathi Campus, Bengaluru. The event showcased the true spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork and perseverance among students.
After seeking the blessings of the Almighty through an invocation song, the day began with a grand march past by ICSE, CBSE and College wings.The event was presided over by Vice President Mr. Santhosh Shetty J,with Our Secretary and the convenor Sri Vijay J Shetty Halady, Vice President Ms. Kanthi Shetty, Treasurer Mr. Ashok Kumar Shetty and The Chief Guest, Mr. Shri Abhishek N Shetty, Police Sub Inspector, BCP, International Athlete, Ekalavya Awardee, declared the Meet open. The oath – taking Ceremony was held by the Sports Captain, who made all the participants promise to play and show true sportsmanship.
The Chief Guest, in his speech, encouraged the students to participate with zeal and uphold the values of fair play and discipline.
The track and field events included running race, relays, long jump and short put. The audience cheered loudly as the athletes displayed their strength, speed and determination. The highlight of the day was the 4*100 relay race, which kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The winners were awarded with medals and trophies.
In her address, the Principal congratulated the participants and reminded everyone that “Winning is not everything, but participation and efforts truly matter”. The day concluded with the National Anthem marking the end of a memorable and spirited celebration.
The second day of the Annual Sports Meet of our Institution for grades 6 & 7 was filled with energy, excitement and remarkable performances from young athletes. The day began with an invocation song followed by the sports torch being lit and the oath being taken by the sports achievers to play with true sportsmanship.
The morning session witnessed thrilling track and field events that included, running race, relay race, long jump and short put. The cheering crowd of students, parents and teachers added to the spirit of competition. The medals were distributed to the winners of various events. The day culminated with the feeling of accomplishment and fulfillment of two days Sports Day.
